How to use a drone swarm
Redefine the battlefield with disruptive swarming capabilities. Create and deploy unmanned vehicles that outmaneuver and outsmart adversaries. Gain a decisive advantage. Define the organization of your swarms to match your military organization (i.e. from single drone missions to complete squadrons in any possible organizational hierarchy).
A drone light show is not swarm intelligence
We see consumer drone manufacturers introducing elements of collaborative software in their drones. These are mostly used for entertainment purposes, the best example being a drone light show. This exciting display may look like a drone swarm due to the sheer numbers of UAVs, however it relies heavily on pre-loaded plans, meticulous pre-positioning, and tons of rehearsing and directing. It lacks the very essence of Swarm Intelligence: spontaneous adaptability and collective decision-making. Since this distinct subset in Artificial Intelligence lacks from such demonstrations, all light shows that we see today are not AI, they are not performed by drone swarm intelligence. At least not yet.
